The Tyne class were built predominately as a slipway launch boat housed in a boathouse giving protection from the elements and ease of maintenance. The RNLI did keep some of the boats afloat and such boats were subject to an extensive planned maintenance routine. A copy of the planned maintenance routine will be provided with the sales documentation, or earlier if requested, and the RNLI recommend that this or a similar maintenance regime is followed.

Due to the complexity of the self-righting bags and the maintenance that they require these will be removed therefore this boat will not have self-righting capability.

There are two survivor cabins below deck, one below wheelhouse and one in the aft cabin. The wheelhouse has seats and safety belts for 6 crew. There is one portable WC in the fwd survivors cabin.

The details provided are a guide only.
