Dorothy and Philip Constant, formerly Shoreham Lifeboat, built 1962, sold out of service, 1988. 42 foot Watson class, twin Gardner 4LW marine diesels Currently used as a coded, sea training vessel and maintained to a high standard. vessel in original condition. Large forecabin, amidships engineroom and aft cockpit with open backed wheelhouse. A rare opportunity to own an original 42 Footer. “Constance” was the Shoreham Lifeboat (Dorothy and Philip Constant – known in Shoreham as “the Dorothy”) from 1963 to 1981. She then went north to Oban in 1981 after which she was in the RNLI reserve fleet until 1988. She is now equipped with the latest aids to navigation and safety: Raymarine Integrated GPS, Chart Plotter and Radar.
