KATHLEEN MARY, formerly the Newhaven lifeboat 47 Ft Watson with self-righting conversion. twin 5LW Gardner diesels. this is without doubt a superb conversion, the result of a 7 year refit in a well known boatyard in Plymouth Asking price reflects the quality of the vessel and the workmanship. Hull: All underwater hull surfaces shotblasted to remove all previous applied paint coatings and all plank seams and butts re-stopped prior to the application of a ‘Coppercoat’ paint system. Ancilliary: The engine room is also fitted with the following equipment: Electric ventilation fans. Diesel powered Eberspacher central heating unit. Insulated domestic hot water tank. Electric shore supply provision Fuel oil heater tank for heater unit. Duritc inverter Victron energy skylla-TG24/50 Double banks of batteries 24v. All engineroom systems doubled up and interchangeable incl., freshwater cooling, battery power. Wheelhouse: Koden colour radar MCD 1560 Garmin chart plotter Radio ICOM IC-M421 Navtex ICS Nav 6 Bow thruster control unit Raymarine autohelm ST8002 Seafarer 701 depth sounder Galley Taylors cooker, 2 burner grill & oven. Fridge,duel fuel Saloon: Kelvin Hughes Falkland II HF transceiver and a C50 DF receiver are also installed at the fwd end of the saloon.Accomodation: Accomodation A saloon space is arranged in the casing aft of the wheelhouse, access being gained via a weather tight door in the forward bulkhead on the starboard side, through thee wheelhouse. The aft end of the saloon is arranged as a galley area with sink, cold and hot water supply domestic refrigerator and a two burner/oven grill cooker. Adequate storage lockers for galley equipment and provisions are also provided. The saloon area is well appointed with a settee berth to port and bench settee to starboard and a central table, additional locker space, book racks and fittings are also installed and are in very good order. Forecabin A two berth cabin is provided immediately forward of the engine room space, access is gained via a watertight hatch in the forward engine room bulkhead or via an escape hatch in the casing top above, this space is fitted with two shipside berths, single port and double width starboard. Adequate locker and storage space is provided and the fresh water supply tank is located at the after end of the casing above this compartment. This accommodation cabin, furnishings and fittings are in very good condition. The forward below deck compartment is arranged as a toilet/shower room, a manual WC is provided forward and arranged for direct overboard discharge, a shower tray is fitted aft with an electric pump out facility, and this spacious compartment also contains provision for the stowage of spare gear and equipment.
