Sandpiper is a "Mooreland 28"design built to challenge the supremacy of the Fairey Huntsman in the Cowes- Torquay races of the 1960's and 70's.
This vessel is known to have been in the races on at least 2 occasions.
The vessel has had some restoration, some years ago and been in undercover storage since.
The engines have been out and re-built and the hull re-furbished.
Engines are twin V8 Cummins of 375hp each.
Vessel reported capable of 40+ knots.
Forward cabin, sleeps 2, with small galley and separate WC compartment.
Some general outfitting required to complete.
A rare opportunity for the classic powerboat enthusiast.
