"Harold Salvesen" arrived from Falmouth by road transport late Autumn 2005 for some restortation work and repaint to original colours.

Some weeks later, a further addition to the growing "fleet" at the facility was Tim Kirtons liverpool "Aguila Wren" which is to undergo a complete restoration to as near original condition as possible To this end Tim has scoured the country from Norfolk to the wilds of the Western Isles, for the bits and pieces necessary to complete the work.

"Harold Salvesen" was launched in the spring of 2006 just as another Rother "Silver Jubilee" also arrived by road to undergo a restoration prior to onward shipment to new owner Michael Ankuda on the Hudson River, New York.

The repair and restoration facility goes from strength to strength with enquiries now pending for yet more restorations on a Barnett and an 1896 pulling and sailing lifeboat.

The team are very enthusiast and the hope is that this enterprise will develop the possibility of training young people in the old shipwrighting skills.
